For businesses aspiring to establish a strong foothold in Europe, a complete comprehension of employment legislation and regulatory compliances serves as a game-changing strategy. Companies are required to sustain success through a knowledge-driven growth strategy that is required for employee management functions such as payslip calculations, salary disbursements, and time management, to name a few, or risk being penalised for unwarranted errors.
Enabling such definitive workforce management and time-evaluation strategies for businesses, Manus Software Europe empowers enterprises—both large and small—to establish ventures in the European market with precise workforce planning and concise time management operations. Based out of Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands, Manus Software Europe started its humble journey into the digital world as a software development firm creating tailor-made enterprise solutions. During the development of a solution for workforce management, the team at Manus had a revolutionary breakthrough, which changed the company’s area of focus.
In the early to mid-2000s, Manus Software Europe began restructuring its portfolio and went on to develop a computational platform that could provide firms with the necessary employee information pertaining to payroll management. HR managers could leverage a full set of tools from Manus Software Europe’s umbrella of solutions that are housed in its “ManusPlus WFM Suite,” thereby determining the cost estimate for the workforce, based on their scheduling requirements; the solution pre-applies the compliance and time evaluation metrics necessary to stay in line with the regulatory protocols of the region.
Our time evaluation engine can cover every collective labour agreement or legislative guidelines without having to make specific coding changes for different regions
Firms can breathe a sigh of relief without having to look into every employee detail to deliver a correct payslip, and subsequently, the right payment. “Our time evaluation engine can cover every collective labour agreement or legislative guidelines without having to make specific coding changes for different regions,” explains Jan-Willem Van Der Boom, founder and CTO of Manus Software Europe.
Not only have these solutions made life easy for HR executives, but they have also opened up an entirely new avenue for better employee engagement with the launch of Manus Software Europe’s Self-Service Portal in 2006. Staff can use the portal to communicate with peers and make alterations to their schedules or apply for leaves; the management can directly check their timeline to decide whether or not to grant the employees permission of absence based on their historical data. “Various people can verify those hours for employees; every exception is documented and warnings are given when needed. HR managers need not personally engage with over 400 employees, instead, they can check the details of those staff members that have an exception,” comments Van Der Boom. Once all calculations are completed and acknowledged, the data is automatically sent to an appropriate salary partner for final evaluation and effective payment disbursement.
As an innovator in the enterprise landscape, Manus Software Europe has earned a seat at the HR Open Standards Summit for its workforce management proficiency. Cashing in on this opportunity, the company wishes to conduct discussions with leading ERP and payroll management technology firms such as ADP, Oracle, and SAP, in order to enhance its already rich portfolio of solutions. Going forward, Manus Software Europe will provide companies the control over multiple collective labour agreements of the many European nations with advanced features and relevant functionalities. “Our philosophy is to offer companies efficient time-evaluation functions for process-driven HR operations and multi-national compliance,” concludes Van Der Boom.
